YouTube Speed Memory is a Chrome extension that helps you manage playback speeds on YouTube. We are committed to protecting your privacy and being transparent about our data practices.

Data Collection and Storage

Local Data Storage

All of your preferences and settings are stored locally on your device using Chrome's storage API:

• Channel-specific playback speed preferences
• Global default speed settings
• Premium subscription status
• Focus Mode preferences
• We do not collect, transmit, or store any of this data on our servers.

License Validation

When you purchase a premium license and enter your license key, the extension:

• Sends your license key to our validation server (Supabase) to verify its authenticity
• Receives confirmation of your subscription status
• Stores the validation result locally on your device
• License validation data:
• License key (encrypted in transit)
